This restaurant is situated at the 'T junction' in the centre of Salen next to the church, 15 minutes walk from the pier.  It offers authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed environment. It has a great reputation for the use of fresh local and authentic Italian ingredients, and the menu adapts to whatever is in season.

Glenforsa bar and restaurant, 45minutes walk along the shore or road, at Mull airstrip.

Meals are served in the Restaurant for both residents and non residents and there is also a small cozy bar which serves bar meals. Emphasis is on traditional Scottish food using fresh local produce and also a number of specials each day. It is not unusual to see wild salmon, Mull mussels & oysters, fresh lobsters and seafood, locally line caught mackerel or trout, or Scotch Highland beef on the menu.

Local produce snack bar, 10 minutes drive across the island on the B8073
Open through the summer months near the Killiechronan camp site.
Using only locally produced meat making burgers (beef, venison, pork and lamb usually available) Salmon plus excellent local mussels.   Lobsters also can be available!!

Worth a visit, or two!

For 2016 opened in April and open most days from 12:00 to 19:00.

Ballygown Restaurant,
20 minutes drive across the island on the B8073
Open all year, approx10minutes past the Killiechronan camp site.

A small, family-run restaurant that specialises in simple meals made from quality local produce. Shellfish from the loch, plus lamb and beef from nearby crofts are used to create classic dishes, all served in a relaxed atmosphere. Bring your own bottle.

Ice Cream parlour on the main street on the waters edge - excellent quality ice cream & sorbets made on Mull.
 

Aros Hall has public toilets.

The old church next door is sometimes a cafe.

Just north of Calgary Bay this cafe/bistro does home cooking with inside and outdoor seating.  Ideal location after a walk along Calgary beach. 
Free WiFi.  Visit the art studio as well.

If cafe is closed, try the art gallery where you can get a cuppa!!!

Located near the castle this cafe/bistro does home cooking with inside and outdoor seating.  Ideal location after a walk by the castle, to the standing stones and coast line.

The oldest pub on Mull built in 1608.  Food and drinks available and sometimes live bands.

Catch the ferry to the island of Ulva and enjoy some local produce!  No bookings available, just call to make sure will be open!

If you are about to catch the ferry at Craignure then park up and try the place (summer opening hours).   Excellent coffee, home made snacks plus licensed.
