Modern design and fittings with underfloor heating plus electric towel rail. Please use the sanitary envelopes provided, we are on a septic tank and pump system. Thank you.

Wooden bench. Hose pipe. Fishing off the head of the pier in front of the property and to the left please, by the pole.
Salen Pier Haven Bookings
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Please use the booking form for BACS details and contact information. Arrival is after 4pm, and departure by 10am please.
Price includes the cost of electricity. Towels, linen and quilt provided plus hairdryer. Please bring own beach towels.
We are dog friendly and there is plenty of open land adjacent to the property, but please call to discuss your requirements. One well-behaved dog is allowed at the discretion of the owners.
We offer 3 and 4 day packages out of peak periods. Please contact for more information.

We stayed at the Haven the second week in June and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodation. It was very cool for the time of year, but lovely and warm in the Haven. The bed was really comfortable and huge! The view from all windows are spectacular, especially when there’s a good sunset. We saw an otter on arrival and watched the herons and Oystercatchers as they hunted in the bay each day. The whole area is rich in wildlife. We saw Sea eagles most days and had a wonderful 3 hour encounter with otters at Croggan. So happy to get close views of a cuckoo as it flew alongside us and landed.
The boat trip to the Isle of Lunga was well worth the money. Four hours surrounded by sea birds and the Puffins put a smile on everyone’s face and are a photographer’s dream.
Truly sad to leave, but hope to be back next year.

We stayed at The Haven for a week in June 2023, during a period of outstanding weather, and we have to say the outlook from the pier while dining al fresco or just from the lounge window is outstanding. There is wildlife all around the pier and although we never did see the elusive otter during our stay we have seen dolphin up close and personal during previous stays.
The Haven has been finished to a very high standard and we wanted for nothing during our stay. We even had the Flying Dutchman, a two mast old sailing ship, moor up alongside for an evening and it was interesting talking with their guests from around the world.
