There are many places to visit on Mull, below are just a few ideas….
Thanks to Karen for the pictures.
Tobermory, many places to visit along the front. Tea rooms, book shop, fishing tackle, silver smith, a number of pubs and restaurants.
Many walks, along the front, to the Lighthouse, to Aros Park and the fresh water Loch.
Distillery – located at the Ledaig car park in Tobermory, well worth a visit.
Glengorm Castle Estate, standing stones and tea room.
Duart Castle restored in 1997 and open to the public is also worth a visit.
Visit Calgary Bay just one of many stunning sandy beaches on Mull.
Walk the beautiful white sand dunes in the horse shoe bay, then what better way to finish than with a walk through the carved nature trail to the tea room – great home made produce. Adjacent is a nice art gallery.
Iona Abbey is one of Scotland’s most historic sites and is a celebrated Christian centre and the burial place of early Scottish Kings.
The Abbey and Nunnery grounds house one of the most comprehensive collections of Christian carved stones in Scotland, ranging in age from 600AD to the 1600s.
