I had the great pleasure of staying in the Pier Haven. A very well appointed and comfortable place indeed. Nothing could have been any better and I enjoyed my stay very much indeed. Tranquil and beautiful area. Came away wishing I could live on Mull.

We stayed at the Haven the second week in June and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodation. It was very cool for the time of year, but lovely and warm in the Haven. The bed was really comfortable and huge! The view from all windows are spectacular, especially when there’s a good sunset. We saw an otter on arrival and watched the herons and Oystercatcers as they hunted in the bay each day. The whole area is rich in wildlife. We saw Sea eagles most days and had a wonderful 3 hour encounter with otters at Croggan. So happy to get close views of a cuckoo as it flew alongside us and landed.
The boat trip to the Isle of Lunga was well worth the money. Four hours surrounded by sea birds and the Puffins put a smile on everyone’s face and are a photographer’s dream.
Truly sad to leave, but hope to be back next year.

We stayed at The Haven for a week in June 2023, during a period of outstanding weather, and we have to say the outlook from the pier while dining al fresco or just from the lounge window is outstanding. There is wildlife all around the pier and although we never did see the elusive otter during our stay we have seen dolphin up close and personal during previous stays.
The Haven has been finished to a very high standard and we wanted for nothing during our stay. We even had the Flying Dutchman, a two mast old sailing ship, moor up alongside for an evening and it was interesting talking with their guests from around the world.

The views are amazing and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night.

What a great place and unusual place to stay with lovely hosts. Good central location in Mull, walks and nature on the doorstep, and beautiful sunset views across the Sound of Mull.
