Waverley 2025

Mega day, mega team effort.

Since purchasing the pier in 2007 we have spent the last 18yrs getting it back to its current condition, with countless friends and family helping – couldn’t have done it without you all – Thank You.

On the 27th May 2025 seeing 200 people join the Waverley Excursions visit at Salen Pier, the first ferry since 1964 was tremendous. No bumping against the pier, all very nice and smooth!!

Mull By Drone flown ably by Barry Whenman has captured some stunning stills and videos of the occassion. STV with Tara Fitzpatrick and Oban Times with Owen Wild have captured the day as well, great reviews, links below.

The team on the day – Murdo Smith, Ben and Kath Jefferies ably sorting out the logistics!! Thanks to Susanne and Carol for allowing parking on their land.

A number of you were asking ‘what about next year’, well, lets see what can be arranged – there is a lot of planning to make this happen, by Paul and Dominic from the Waverley and Salen Pier Holidays!
