Salen Pier Point is a self-catering property found on the Isle of Mull. The property sleeps up to four in two comfortable en-suite bedrooms.
This unique property, situated at the end of the Pier, has a fully fitted kitchen and lounge offering stunning views. With our central location, you can easily tour the delights of both the north & south of the island.
The views across the Sound of Mull, along the coast & to the Munro Ben More are breathtaking.
Living Area
The open plan living area provides a modern, fully fitted kitchen & dining table, plus a spacious lounge with panoramic views through the front windows and two large double floor-to-ceiling doors, all with blinds.
There is under-floor heating throughout. Sony TV, DVD, Sonos S1 sound system. WiFi throughout.
Kitchen/Dining Area
Fully fitted kitchen with Oven, Induction Hob, Fridge/Freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and sink.
Breakfast bar seating for 2 at the island. Dining table with seating for 6.
A travel cot & high chair are available for a young guest on request.
Bedroom One
This room is usually made up as a SuperKing, but can be made as a twin. Stunning views to the east with sun rises to enjoy with a cuppa in bed!
Linen and towels provided.
Equipped with Sony television & hairdryer.
Spacious shower room en-suite, under floor heating and large electric heated towel rail.
Bedroom Two
This room is usually made up as a Twin, but can be SuperKing.
Equipped with a Sony television.

Wooden bench. Fishing off the head of the pier to the East (right).
Parking space on the shore for two cars, adjacent to the BT pole.
Salen Pier Point Bookings
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Please use the booking form for BACS details and contact information. Arrival is after 4pm, and departure by 10am please.
Price includes the cost of electricity. Towels, linen and quilts are also provided, as are two hair dryers. Please bring own beach towels.
We are dog friendly and there is plenty of open land adjacent to the property, but please call to discuss your requirements. One well-behaved dog is allowed in the restricted areas at the discretion of the owners.
We offer 3 and 4 day packages during off peak periods. Please contact for more information.

Thank you for our wonderful stay at Salen Pier Point last week. The views took our breath away. When I was too tired to go for the walks, I was very happy just watching the changing light on the water. We could sit and watch for hours.
In addition to this, the accommodation was way beyond our expectations. We were very comfortable, the showers were excellent and the kitchen facilities great. We all loved Mull because as a family we have always enjoyed remote places with the opportunity to walk and find new wildlife and views. These we had in abundance. We recommend a day trip to Iona, returning on the scenic route, a 4 hour trip on the Staffa tours boat from Tobermory when we saw loads of dolphins and minky whales, kayaking and swimming from the pier end.
My children and I would all like to return or come to see for the first time and I am sure they will.

We absolutely loved our 2 week stay at The Pier Point. It was our best ever holiday in Scotland and we’ve had many, many of those. We really didn’t want to leave. We loved Mull, we cycled and walked miles, we sat on secluded beaches, we saw otters, seals, puffins and eagles, we took boat trips to Staffa, Lunga, Iona and Ulva. It was wonderful but we think we could have spent the whole fortnight sitting in a house on a jetty over the water, staring at the panoramic and ever-changing seascape from the comfort of the truly unique Pier Point.
